Paignton Zoo

A perfect day trip is Paignton Zoo which is home to hundreds of exotic animals. They offer lots of activities and experiences, from scheduled feeding times to getting up close and personal with the animals and a selection of restaurants and cafes.
Kent's Cavern

Kent's Cavern has an extensive labyrinth of spectacular and easily accessible caverns open daily all year. Explore the ancient home of Britain’s earliest humans and get up close with 2 million years old, spectacular cave formations.

Cockington Country Park

Cockington a quintessential English village with Saxon origins with quaint thatched cottages and buildings dating back to the 16th Century. The 450 acre park include three ornamental lakes, a historic Manor House with craft centre and studios, and a quaint church.
Dart Valley Railway

Steam train, river and sea cruises in South Devon. Open from February to early November. The steam trains travel seven miles along the most spectacular South Devon coast to Kingswear. River Boats operate on the river Dart with regular scheduled services to Totnes.
Model Village Torquay

Babbacombe Model Village is a miniature world with hundreds of model scenes and all kinds of goings-on, along with much humour and many animated displays. It is all set in 4 acres of award-winning gardens.
Palace Theatre

Performances and events running 50 weeks of the year and with the 368 seats provide comfort but excellent viewing. The theatre is a 2-minute walk from Paignton town centre and with free roadside evening parking.
